Canal and Towpath between Butlers Bridge and Tyburn Bridge, Chester Road

Third‑party contractors will be carrying out repairs to Berwood Common Bridge. The towpath and canal will remain open throughout the works. To facilitate the repairs, contractors will be using a pontoon and a scaffold tower. Both the scaffold tower and pontoon will be moved as required to allow the safe passage of towpath users and boat traffic. Signs and banksmen will be in place on site to manage the works and traffic safely.
