Towpath Improvement Works – Temporary Towpath and Navigation Restrictions The project to improve approximately 550 metres of towpath between the bottom of Bingley Five Rise Locks and the bottom of Three Rise Locks continues and is now entering its next phase. To facilitate these works, a tarmac transfer operation will take place from the top of Bingley Five Rise Locks through to the work site. During this activity, construction work boats will require priority access.
Date and Time of Restrictions: Monday 8th June, 8:00am – 1:00pm Boaters should also be aware that there may be short delays to navigation, with waits of up to one hour possible while materials are moved safely through the locks.
