Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Wheaton Aston Lock.
The closure is due to issues with both lock paddles. The top paddle is currently blocked, and one of the liners on the bottom paddle has failed. As a result, the lock cannot be operated safely.
A repair plan is currently being developed, and we will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.
