There is a submerged object sitting at the bottom of Shireoaks Middle Lock which is passable with care. Please can boaters take extra care when using the lock, we advise that boaters approach and lower their boats slowly to avoid the obstruction.
We are currently working on a plan to get this object removed. An update will be provided by Monday the 8th of June.
