Canal and Towpath from Asylum Bridge to Western Road Bridge

Third‑party contractors will be carrying out an inspection of the offside waterway wall along the Birmingham City Hospital site. To facilitate access, a pontoon will be installed within the canal. The canal will remain open throughout the works, and activities will not interfere with boat traffic. Banksmen will be present on the towpath to manage operations.
