Third-party contractors will be carrying out specialist underwater scour inspections of the bridge abutments. A specialist access team will be working in the water during these investigations.
Boaters are advised to proceed with caution, as there will be a person in the water. Please follow all instructions given by the contractors on site and do not pass until it is confirmed safe to do so.
Navigation may be temporarily held while the person in the water is moved to a safe location. Any delays are expected to be short, up to a maximum of 30 minutes.
