The team have been closely monitoring the water levels and they have recovered enough for passage to be possible. The closure has been removed and the section is navigable.

Whilst the team have been closely monitoring the water levels in the section. There has been a little improvement but not enough to allow it be navigable. We shall keep the closure on over the weekend to allow further recovery time for this section's water levels to recover fully. We will revisit the section on Monday and look to have an update around noon on the Monday 1st June.

A navigation closure has been put in place between Lock 20 and Lock 24 due to a boater operational error resulting in low water levels in this section. We will continue to monitor the levels and will update the notice once the levels have recovered.
