Towpath Closure - Calder & Hebble Navigation, Bridge 14 Calderway Bridge and Elland Bridge (Towpath in front of Barge & Barrel), Elland

Please can towpath users be aware that the towpath in front of the Barge and Barrell Public House will be closed from Tuesday, September 1st 2026, with and anticipated reopening date of January 1st, 2027.

This is to allow for third party contractors to widen the existing towpath.

Moorings between Caderway Bridge and Elland Bridge on the Barge and Barrell side only, will be suspended.
