Navigation Restriction - Huddersfield Broad Canal, Between lock 8 and Lock 9, Fartown - Culvert repairs completed at 2pm today - navigation reopen 2pm onwards.

The Culvert repairs are currently underway and shall be completed by 2pm. The navigation will be open from 2pm onwards.

A navigation stoppage has been placed between Lock 8 and Lock 9 on the Huddersfield Broad Canal to undertake a culvert repair in the pound. Water levels will be lowered to carry out and complete the repairs, making this section unnavigable. Please follow instructions from staff on site. We will update the notice tomorrow with the progress of the culvert repairs.
