Planned Closure - Don Aqueduct (Cancelled)

Please note that the planned closure for the essential maintenance inspections at Don Aqueduct has now been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. At present, both guillotine locks will remain open and navigation will continue as normal. We will provide a further update once the works have been rescheduled and a new closure date has been confirmed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Essential maintenance inspections will be carried out on both guillotine locks at Don Aqueduct. As part of these checks, our engineering teams will also be assessing the bull rail repairs. These inspections are vital to ensuring the locks continue to operate safely and reliably. To enable the works to be completed safely:

• The guillotine gates will remain in the lowered position throughout the day.
• As a result, navigation through the locks will not be possible until the inspections have been completed.
