Towpath-Leicester line at Husband Bosworth-north of the eastern entrance to the tunnel between Br.46 (Honey Pot Farm Bridge) and Br.50(Mowsley Road Bridge)

As Bridge 50 is the next public access point north of Bridge 46, the towpath closure is extended upto Bridge 50 in the interest of public safety

Section of the towpath north of the eastern entrance to the tunnel between Br.46 and Br.47 at Husband Bosworth has been heavily damaged by escaping cattle. Our inspectors have been out to site and inspected the towpath and have deemed it unsafe for access between Bridge 46 and Bridge 47. The towpath remains closed until further notice
