Navigation is currently closed at Little Clegg Swing Bridge on the Rochdale Canal due to a fault with the lock mechanism and the hydraulic hose that operates the swing bridge.
Our contractors have been informed and await their attendance to site to assess the issues and plan a method of repair.
In the meantime, our team will provide assisted passages through Little Clegg Swing Bridge.
If you wish to navigate through the affected area, please contact our North West Customer Support Team on 0303 040 4040 with at least 48 hours' notice during our opening hours Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, so we can arrange your assisted passage.
Please note that assisted passages are available Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 2:00pm, and at 12:30 Saturday and Sunday.
