Contractors, working on behalf of the Local Highway Authority, will be crane lifting a new replacement bridge into position, at West Park to Broad Street Footbridge 5 near Long Eaton between Tuesday, 26th May at 7:00am and Sunday, 21st June at 6:00pm.
The towpath will be closed for these works. The navigation could face delays of up to 4 hours during working hours. There will be signage placed at Long Eaton Lock and Golden Brook which will provide the name and phone numbers for two on-site members of staff, they will give an indication of the expected delay or clear the navigation to allow boat passage, please call the numbers provided on arrival.
