Lock 1E will not be padlocked and passage will be available through the lock.

Lock 1E on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal is padlocked to preserve the water levels at the bottom of the navigation. Should skippers wish to go through Lock 1E, we will open it on request. Skippers are to contact the Yorkshire NorthEast Team on 03030 404040, and contact will be made with the local team to unlock Lock 1E for passage.
