The pollution incident is ongoing and is currently being investigated by our team. Navigation remains closed at this location while the investigation is underway.

A further update will be provided by the end of the week.

Due to a pollution incident, The Trust are installing booms across the canal at Freeth bridge and Pelsall works bridge to stop the pollution traveling further down the system. Sorry for any inconvenience this may course.
