Please be advised that contractors will be carrying out water jetting works to clear a blocked by-weir culvert at Lock 18.
The works will take place on Tuesday 5th May from 08:00 to 12:00 (or earlier if completed ahead of schedule).
The pound level will be lowered to enable the work to be undertaken safely.
Boat passage will not be permitted during this period.
We kindly ask customers to take extra care when passing as the jetting hose will be across the towpath during the work.
Trust staff and volunteers will be positioned at the locks above and below Lock 18 to assist and advise boating customers and towpath users while the works are in progress.
