An angling club have organised a fishing event on Saturday,16 May 2026, 8 AM – 4 PM.
The event will use a section of the towpath between Bridge 25, Hallsall Warehouse Bridge and Bridge 31, New Lane Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
The towpath and navigation will remain open to boats and the public, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
