A navigation closure is required to carry out dewatering of the lock flight and side ponds for fisheries management purposes. Please note, the navigation will be closed between lock 8 and 17
Foxton Lock Flight
Cancelled: The fish management works originally scheduled as part of the winter works programme have been brought forward. Due to ongoing drought conditions and the current navigation closure, the opportunity has been taken to undertake these works earlier than planned. The work will involve fish management activities within the affected area. The works are scheduled to take place between 16 September and 18 September whilst the flight remains closed due to low water levels. We would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding whilst these essential works are carried out.
