To help maintain a sufficient water supply between Lock 24W and Lock 32W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, we are introducing additional measures to support safe navigation.
Locks within this section will be operating between 9:00am and 4:00pm, allowing boaters to continue enjoying access along the waterway during these hours.
Water levels will be closely monitored and will remain under review.
A further update will be provided on or before Tuesday, 5 May.

Navigation is closed between Lock 24W and Lock 32W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to low water levels.
Our team are working hard to replenish the pounds, however this may take a few days for water levels to recover.
We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get the levels back to normal.
An update will be provided on Monday 27 April.
