Tuel Lane Lock - tree has fallen across the navigation and towpath

A tree has fallen across the navigation and the towpath at Tuel Lane Lock on the Rochdale Canal. We have raised the job with contractors and we are having it on a callout to be attended to today to remove it. Being a busy part of the Rochdale Canal, it is essential that it is removed quickly, causing the least disruption as possible to boaters. We will update the notice when the tree has been removed.
