The local team are undertaking silt removal from Lock 41E to Lock 42E so a navigation closure is needed to be in place. This will also impact pedestrian access on the towpath between these two locks as the towpath will be worked upon to act as a platform to retrieve the silt from, so will also be closed. Towpath users will be able to use the parallel wooded area to get from Lock 41E to Lock 42E, whilst the towpath is closed. The towpath and navigation will be reopened tomorrow morning.
