The team have attended site and more work is needed than initially thought to repair the paddle. We will be looking to have further attendance to the lock on Friday to rectify the issue. We will update the notice on Friday 24th April.

Lock 6, Brearley has a paddle out of action on the towpath side. The lock will need to filled using just the one working paddle on the offside. This will take the lock longer to fill. The team are going to be attending site later on today to see if it is an issue with the spindle of which can be rectified easily. We will update the notice when the repairs have been carried out and when the lock is operational again.
