Towpath between Four Ashes Bridge No. 78A and Watling Steet Bridge 79

Due to towpath resurfacing works being carried out by third‑party contractors between Four Ashes Bridge No. 78A and Bridge 77 (Calf Heath Bridge), materials will be loaded into a workboat from a third‑party compound located behind the towpath between Four Ashes Bridge No. 78A and Watling Street Bridge No. 79.

The towpath will remain open throughout the works. Banksmen will be in place to manage lifting operations and towpath traffic, and works will be temporarily paused as required to allow for the safe passage of towpath users. Appropriate signage will also be installed on site.

Please follow all signage and any instructions provided by the third‑party contractors on site.
