Please be advised that both the navigation and towpath are currently closed between Lock 60 and Lock 61.
This is due to overhead power lines arcing onto a fallen tree limb, creating a significant safety hazard.
The Fire Brigade is on site and the area will remain closed until the power company has attended and the situation has been made safe.
