The towpath remains closed at Bridge 100 on the Lancaster Canal due to a fallen tree.

Contractors have been instructed to attend but have been delayed as they continue to work through the backlog created by Storm Dave.

They are expected on site soon and an update will be provided on or before Friday 1 May.

The towpath remains closed at Bridge 100 on the Lancaster Canal due to a fallen tree.

At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as they are currently dealing with a back log from the high workload created from Storm Dave.

We will provide a further update on or before Monday 27 April.

At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as they are currently dealing with a back log from the high workload created from Storm Dave.
