Image of the fallen tree
A tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation near to bridge 29 near New Mills on the Peak Forest canal. Our teams have attended the site, however due to the size of the tree we need to instruct our specialist contractor to assist with the removal. At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as adverse weather conditions from recent strong winds are impacting our waterways across the North West and causing delays. We will provide a further update during the weekend.
