A running event, organised by Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, is taking place on Saturday 20th June 2026 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
The event will use a section of towpath between Chorlton Street Lock, 86 and Lock 92 on the Rochdale Canal and further along the Bridgewater Canal.
The towpath will remain open although there may be slight delays.
Please proceed with care and follow the guidance of the stewards.
