A running event, organised by PFW Running, is taking place on Saturday 9th May 2026 from 9am to 4.30pm.
The event will start and finish at the UCLAN Sports Arena in Preston and use a 1.2 mile section of canal between Bridge 16a, Tom Benson Bridge and the Ribble Link on the Lancaster Canal.
The towpath will remain open although there may be slight delays. Please proceed with care and follow the guidance of the stewards.
