Towpath from Salvage Turn Bridge to Bridge 88 Granville Street, Waterfront Walk, Birmingham

Contractors have identified some structural defects that were not originally anticipated and require remedial works. As a result, the scaffolding on the towpath will need to remain in place until the end of May.

Third-party contractors are to be installing scaffolding on the towpath to carry out recladding works on the Holliday Wharf building, Waterfront Walk.

The scaffolding will slightly reduce the width of the towpath; however, the towpath will remain open.

Signage and fencing will be in place to manage pedestrian traffic safely.
