The Roving Canal Traders Association Barbridge Floating Market will be taking place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2026 on the Shropshire Union Canal. The event will be starting at 10:00am and finishing at 5:00pm each day.
This will take place between Bridge 100, Bremilow's Bridge to Bridge 101, Goodwin Bridge. You can see more details about this event here: https://www.rcta.org.uk/events
The towpath and navigation will remain open to boats and the public as normal, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
The visitor moorings between these Bridges will be suspended for the event from Thursday 13th August 2026 at 9:00am until Monday 17th August 2026 at 10:00am. The relevant moorings will be signposted accordingly.
