Between Spine Road Bridge, Ocker Hill and Golds Hill Bridge

Third‑party contractors will be installing scaffolding at Aqueduct 1, Goldshill, to facilitate the installation of a pipe crossing.

To ensure the safety of all users, the towpath will be closed between Spine Road Bridge and Goldshill Bridge for the duration of these works.

Diversion signage will be in place and provided by the third‑party contractors.

The scaffolding will be delivered to site by boat. Banksmen will be in place, and signage will be positioned upstream and downstream to advise and manage both boaters and towpath users.

We kindly ask all users to take extra care in the area and to follow all on‑site signage and instructions.
