We would like to inform our customers that Wessex Water will be carrying out works on and near the towpath to install a water‑monitoring bollard on the grass verge behind the path. As part of this work, a cable will also need to be installed beneath the towpath to complete the connection.
All open excavations will be backfilled and fully reinstated once the work is complete.
Navigation will remain unaffected, however, we ask customers to proceed with caution. A short towpath diversion will be in place, and we kindly request that you follow all signs and any instructions provided by the contractor.
