Third-party contractors working on the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension will be carrying out night-time works to install a new bridge over the canal as part of the new metro line.
To facilitate these works, the towpath will be closed at night only from:
- 30 April 2026 to 24 June 2026
- Daily between 21:30 and 05:30
A signed towpath diversion route will be provided on site.
