The towpath will be closed to all users at Lock 14 on the Peak Forest Canal on Monday 23 March at 7am until Friday 10 April at 4.30pm.
Our teams will be onsite to investigate the ground adjacent to Lock 14 that requires stabilising, as this has resulted in damage to the towpath and a repair is required.
Whilst the canal will be kept open to navigation, we would ask all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given onsite.
An update will be provided on or before Friday 10 April.
