A half-marathon, organised by Stuweb Events, is planned for Saturday 4 July on the Birmingham Mainline Canals.

The run will use a section of towpath between Broad Street Basin Bridge, Wolverhampton, and the NIA Cast Iron Bridge, Brindley Place, Birmingham.

Around 1000 people are expected to take part and the event will run from 6am till 5pm.
