The towpath and navigation remain closed between Bridge 76, Corless Bridge and Bridge 77, Smiths Bridge on the Lancaster Canal due to a fallen tree.
Our specialist contractors will be attending site tomorrow to remove the obstruction.
We apologise that the clearance is taking longer than originally expected and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue.
We will provide a further update tomorrow, Thursday, 5 March.

The towpath and navigation remain closed between Bridge 76, Corless Bridge and Bridge 77, Smiths Bridge on the Lancaster Canal due to a fallen tree.
Unfortunately, our specialist contractors are currently experiencing a high volume of work, which has resulted in a delay in their attendance at the site.
We apologise that the clearance is taking longer than originally expected and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue.
A further update will be provided on Wednesday, 4 March.

The towpath and navigation remain closed between Bridge 76, Corless Bridge and Bridge 77, Smiths Bridge on the Lancaster Canal due to a fallen tree.
Unfortunately, our specialist contractors have been delayed attending the site.
We apologise that this has taken longer to clear than originally expected.
A further update will be provided on Monday, 2 March.

Navigation and towpath access remain closed between Bridge 76, Corless Bridge and Bridge 77, Smiths Bridge due to the fallen tree.
We are currently awaiting confirmation of their attendance and we will provide a further update on Friday 27 February.
