A canoe/kayak event called York Canoe Race organised by Paddle UK will be taking place on the Saturday 20th June between Clifton Road Bridge and Millennium Bridge from 08:00hrs to 18:30hrs.
The river and towpath will reman open but delays may be experienced whilst races are occurring. Please may skippers and towpath users follow any instructions given by the race stewards and safety boats whilst the event is on.
