Between Bridge 123L and Bridge 126

Please be advised of that moorings will be restricted at Chester Basin between Bridge 123L and Bridge 126 from Tuesday 31st March to Friday 3rd April 2026 to facilitate historic boats travelling to the Historic Boat Gathering at Ellesmere Port over Easter.

The following restrictions will be in place to accommodate the event:

Moorings will be suspended at Tower Wharf visitor moorings and also for 85m north of Bridge 126 between these dates.

This restriction will be in force for all boats except for those attending the event. Mooring outside of this area is unaffected.

Please consider this when cruising through the suspension as it may be busier than usual once the boats are in position.

Navigation and towpath remain fully open.
