Waterway wall upstream of Lock 3, Camp Hill Flight

The major works to the waterway wall immediately upstream of Lock 3 on the Camp Hill Flight, originally scheduled for 5 January to 13 March, have been deferred. To protect the wall in the meantime and prevent further deterioration caused by scour, we will be installing ballast bags at the toe of the wall. To carry out this activity safely, a navigation and towpath restriction will be in place from 23 February to 27 February. During lifting operations, boats and towpath users may be asked to wait for short periods while the site is made safe for passage. Please note that the flight will remain closed to boaters due to the ongoing extended works at Lock 5. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.
