Following installation of the new cables, J Murphy & Sons Ltd will undertake modifying the existing Joint Bay 1A/1B.
Works include removal of old troughs, excavation and reconstruction of the chamber, installation of new pre-cast units, earthing works, backfilling, and reinstatement of the towpath.
