Don Doors and Doncaster Lock - Closed due to high water levels

The Don doors on the new junction canal will be staying down today, and Doncaster lock will remain closed as we monitor the river levels due to the predicted weather.

Due to rising water levels because of the coinciding Spring Tide and forthcoming rainfall, Doncaster Lock on the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation and Don Doors on the New junction Canal are closed. The team will closely monitor the river levels and will check tomorrow morning. We will update the notice when water levels have returned to a navigable level.
