Aqueduct 35, Swinden Aqueduct 142A

Please be advised that the towpath is currently restricted, upstream from Aqueduct 35, Swinden Aqueduct 142A, on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

This is due to Cadent engineers carrying out works to locate and repair a medium pressure gas leak.

Towpath users should  be aware of plant & vehicles moving to site and there may be short delays whilst manoeuvring on the towpath.

Please approach the area with caution and listen to instructions from the contractors.
