Third-party contractors will be carrying out inspection works to Selly Oak Rail Bridge 81 on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal, using a pontoon.
The pontoon will be positioned to allow waterway traffic to pass.
Signage is to be placed both upstream and downstream of the works to notify boaters.
