Contractors, working on behalf of the Local Authority, to build the new footbridge close to Dockholme Lock, Long Eaton, will be using a temporary floating pontoon across the canal to access both banks between 21st January and 27th February 2026. They will move the pontoon without delay to ensure that the navigation is not restricted.
