Bridge 17 Loco Lift Bridge to Bridge 17a Aspley Basin Wash Wall Repairs

A restriction is required to undertake wash wall repairs between Aspley Basin and Loco lift Bridge.  This work can be completed without dewatering the canal and so the navigation will remain open.  This restriction will be in place from 26 January to 13 February.   Please note, boats may be asked to wait while the site is made safe before passage.   The towpath will also be closed as part of this restriction.  A clearly signposted diversion will be in place.   The customer service block in Apsley Basin will remain open and accessible throughout the works.
