Two trees have fallen across the Shropshire Union Canal between Bridge 29 (Wood Eaton Bridge) and Bridge 30 (Castle Cutting Bridge), blocking navigation.
Storm Goretti has impacted a number of our waterways, resulting in a high volume of incidents. Our teams are prioritising safety and are working to clear obstructions and reopen affected routes as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while these matters are addressed and will provide updates as soon as they become available.
