The River Salwarpe is currently at yellow status; however, due to heavy rainfall forecast for this afternoon, the area will remain closed as a precaution. Water levels will be reviewed again tomorrow.

Due to the canalization of the River Salwarpe between these two locks, we have temporarily closed them to ensure the safety of boaters during current flood conditions.
We will keep monitoring the situation and will reopen the locks as soon as it is safe to do so.
