Update 30 January 2026, 3:21pm

Due to access issues reported by the contractors the skip will now be replaced on Monday the 5th of February.

This notice will be updated once the job has been completed.

Update 26 January 2026, 4:15pm

We have had confirmation from contractors that the skip will be replaced tomorrow, Tuesday the 27th of January.

Update 23 January 2026, 4:18pm

Contractors did not attend site earlier this week as arranged to replace the bin. Therefore, we are currently chasing this up and considering alternate options.

This notice will be updated with further information on Monday the 26th of January.

Update 14 January 2026, 9:57am

We have been informed by our contractors that the bin is now going to be replaced on Monday the 19th of January.

Once the job has been completed and the facilities are back open for use this notice will be updated.

The burnt skip is due to be replaced on Wednesday the 14th of January.

Please refrain from using the waste facilities until further notice.

One of the skips was deliberately set alight in the early hours of this morning. The fire service attended and the fire was safely extinguished.

For safety reasons, please do not use the waste facilities until the damaged skips have been removed and replaced. New skips have been ordered, and this notice will be updated once they have been delivered and the facilities are back in use.
