A large tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation and towpath at Bridge 5, Swifts Bridge, on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

Due to the size and position of the tree, we have instructed our specialist contractor to assist with the removal.

We will provide a further update on or before Friday 02 January.
