Navigation remains restricted due to the fallen tree.
We are still waiting for specialist contractors to clear the site but this is taking longer than usual due to the current adverse weather conditions.

Navigation remains restricted due to the fallen tree.
We are waiting for specialist contractors to attend to clear the site. This is taking longer than usual due to a backlog of work caused by the recent adverse weather conditions.
We will provide a further update on or before Wednesday 07 January.

A large tree has fallen and is currently restricting navigation near Bridge 47 on the Lancaster Canal.
Due to the size and position of the tree, we have instructed our specialist contractor to assist with the removal.
We will provide a further update on or before Friday 02 January.
